The year that has passed
It has been a busy year, also very stressfull, so much have happened within 365 days. The single major event was when I became a father, the 1th November Marius was born. It changed my life, and really plunged me into adulthood.
Now 2008 is waiting for me, lurking in the shadows just waiting to jump out and tear out my brain.
Spare time is something which I will treasure in the coming years, I am going to work ~20 hours each week and study at school for ~24, so 44 hours of work each week. And when I come home I will still have Marius, cleaning, homeworks and other things that has to be taken care off. So I am predicting some rough couple of years.
Another thing this year is going to bring is Marius and his upbringing, I am looking forward to see him develope and slowly become a functional human being, at the moment he is still a baby and 100% dependent on us
He can’t even use his arms
We are going to spend New Years eve at Ditte’s parents and their friends and family. Nice and easy. No party with a lot of alcohol, and so it will be for many years to come, but that is allright for me
I am getting to mentally old for going to parties just to get drunk
So I hope the new year will bring all of you out there fortune
Take care and see you in 2008!

Christmas is over!
Back again after a short break that lasted a couple of days. Well now christmas is over, for the most of us. I got some decent presents, like the last Harry Potter book in the series (in danish, since I had it in english to begin with). Underwear and then I got a lot of gifts together with Ditte, one of the major gifts that we got was a 7.2m camera from Sony (Carl Zeiss lens) from my parents in law. So we have taken some photographs with the new camera, and it will come in handy to capture some of the moments with Marius. I still got my video camera from JVC to get it on tape
(Remember, if you get it on tape, you might get it in cash!) – Bob Saget.
Now I’ve entered the time before new years eve, this new years eve is going to be an relaxing one, because Marius is so small, so we decided not to go to Ditte’s cousins party. Not fun hanging around a bunch of drunk people when Marius is like an infant.
We are spending the evening instead at her parents place.
On another note, I bought the STEAM holiday package with 6 games for a decent price. The packaged contained the danish developed game Kane & Lynch, which I’ve heard both bad and good things about. So I am curious to check it out, but since I bought it via. STEAM, and it takes up 7 GIG of space, it takes some time to load down, I think it’s about 50% done now, and it’s been running for 4 hours or so. Also there is the anniversery version of Tombraider a game that had gotten quite good reviews, so I might check that out too. A game that I am also playing at the moment that I highly can recommend to those that like RPG and ADVENTURE games, is THE WITCHER, a polish developed game, but don’t let that scare you away, it’s awesome, state of the art DX9 graphics. Cool story that is compelling. In short the world that you travel in is very “Grey” there is no immidiate good or evil guys, might considered a bit depressing world, but it is compelling and the person you play has some neat tricks up his sleave. Sidenote; Hellgate London didn’t really capture my attention, tried it for sometime, it seemed a bit too repeative, even though the levels changes, regardless on how many times you change the apperance of a level, it’s still the same assignment…
See you around, remember to check out my Youtube account while you’re at it. (www.youtube.com/tylzen)
Let the war of the burgers begin…
It is official, I got the job at Burger King, I will start the 3rd January. It was a bit confussing if I got the job or not, they stated at the interview that they would call me the same day or the next. Two weeks later they called, they had been busy, I know how it is.
I am just glad that they did reply and I finally know I got a job. I do have a small son and girlfriend (she is also small) that I need to support for.
It sounds like a great place to work at, the pay is okay, it’s higher than the minimum wage
And about the same I got paid at my old work. And the avg. age is 21, so I would fit in perfectly.
I had my last day at work at Kuwait Petroleum last week, so I am unemployeed at the moment, untill January. We’ll have party in January at my old work, and my former boss have also invited me.
I think I will drop by and get drunk and silly with my co-workers, a last time.
It’s almost christmas, I am going to celebrate christmas eve tomorrow (21) and the 24th.
So I will be back the 25th or 26th with an update with what I got, and what happened
Merry Christmas to you all.
