Atheism – Are people blind?
For me atheism is logical and probably the only rational thing in this world. It is not a belief but rather an acceptance that there is no deity that rules supreme (also in plural form).
It sounds very ignorant when especially creationists (people that believe that God litteraly created the Earth roughly 6000 – 7000 years ago) just ignore scientific facts and instead write articles to adress people’s emoitions instead of reason. Asking questions such as, “Do you really believe that we are decendent from apes?” that is a not a rational question but an emotional.
Then there are those that say that evolution and likewise were the instruments that God was working through. Gerald Schröder with his “The Science of God” made a long formal that used Einstein’s theory that time is relative to “prove” that 6 days in God’s time is 15 billion years (the age of the universe). But we still got that problem that God created plants before light.
And you won’t convience me that plants lived millions of years before light came to be. That is just silly.
Photosynthesis is not rocket science it is taught at high school, about how plants through CO2, H2O and E (light, energy) creates glukose, and O2.
Are people afraid that if they cast away religion that we’ll all sink into a pit filled with immorality and anarchy?
I’ve read from Christian fundamentalists that if there wasn’t a God what would stop them from killing a person then? That is a scary statement. Common sense and the benefits of society should stop people from comitting genocide.
It’s not like that religious people haven’t killed someone.
So all you people out there, cast away the clouds of ignorance and start thinking.
Vacation ending…
I spent most of my week at my parent’s place with my son. It was okay, my niece and nephew were there aswell. They helped a lot with trying to run my son’s energy low. We got home late yesterday. We both slept like babies.
I missed my own bed so much that when I had laid down it did not take long before I went away into sleepy-land.
Tonight Marius’ mom will come and pick him up and spend the next week at her’s place.
Tomorrow school starts. Yeah! 
On another note a lot of my favourite series has started again. I really like Dirty Jobs for example. South Park aswell.
Hehe…
I am still too tired to actually put sense into this entry.
I will try and make more Youtube videos.
Family Guy versus The Simpsons.
This is an ongoing debate. Are one even able to discuss this, are they not two completely different series?
Perhaps…
Recently though it seems like The Simpons are trying use some of the formula that the The Family Guy uses aswell, by shoving in random pieces that are far out.
Both series are about dysfunctional families in the American suburbia. The Family Guy has just added random non-fiction, like the Mayor Adam West being 95% helium and then floats away.
The Simpsons has been a bit more earth bound and tried to question certain things, and actually make it seem as if it was possible to do in real life.
Lately though they got random sequences that are “super-natural.”
So which shows does I think is the best?
Depends on how you define best, if you mean best by which have made me laugh the most, then it would The Family Guy.
The Simpsons however has stories and are better to tell them than The Family Guy where you easily get lost in all the gags and stupidity (but that is also fun).
They are both great series.
