Blood, sex, violence, and drama.

True Blood,

I really got hooked on this series on HBO, which runs on Canal+ in Scandinavia.

The settings is Louisana, present time. Vampires have come out in the open and are fighting for rights in society. Thanks to Japanese scientists, synthesized blood made it possible for vampires to stop feeding on humans. Mainstreaming as they call it is when the Vamp is trying to blend in and live a “normal” life.

Bill the protagonist vampire is trying to maintain a balance between his humanity and vampirity. His love with waitress and telepath Sookie is what keeps him human.

After trying to watch Twillight (twice) I am glad that I finally found someone that take vampires “serious”. Not making them into sissy, crying, whine, emo-pants.

If you like vampires and is sick and tired of Twilligt.

This is a show you cannot miss!
